The 44th annual Leap Sandcastle Classic brings enormous sand sculptures to San Francisco's coastline, with teams of architects, engineers, designers, contractors and local students transforming Ocean Beach into an open-air art gallery. The day also features live music, cultural performances, food vendors and an awards ceremony, and it's free to attend.
