Tue, October 20th - Sun, October 25th10am - 5pm

Description

A free exhibition inside Forest Lawn Museum in Glendale exploring the personal and creative friendship between Walt Disney and Forest Lawn founder Hubert Eaton. Both Missouri-born visionaries reinvented their industries—Disney with theme parks, Eaton with memorial parks—and even collaborated with the same artists, including Imagineer Herbert Ryman.

Address

Forest Lawn Museum, 1712 S Glendale Ave, Glendale, CA 91205

Community Notes

Free admission—no excuse to skip it

Runs through February 7, 2027, so plan ahead before it closes

Look for the parallel life stories: both men came from Missouri, admired Mark Twain, and were inspired by grand old Europe

See works tied to Herbert Ryman, who sketched the first concept for Disneyland and Forest Lawn's colossal painting, The Resurrection

The exhibit sits inside Forest Lawn Memorial-Park, so expect a cemetery setting with art and statues throughout
