Rough House Puppet Arts' annual puppet-staffed haunted house, staged as an immersive peep-show walkthrough with six micro-vignettes on the theme "blood." This season's installment (House of the Exquisite Corpse VI: Lullabies) runs Oct. 8–Nov. 1 at Steppenwolf's Merle Reskin Space in Lincoln Park.

Runs Thursdays–Saturdays; timed entries, so book a slot in advance

Recommended for ages 13+; tickets roughly $21–$46
